5 Steps to Obtaining Your Driving License in Texas
Start the process with the teen 24-hours on-line course. Next, take the mandatory teen 14-hours of in-car driving lessons. After holding your driving permit for 6 months, take the DPS Road Test at Pioneer.

Teen Behind-The-Wheel (BTW) Training (14 Hours)
- Now that you have your driving permit in your hands, you can register for the mandatory 14 hours of in-car driving lessons with a driving instructor at Pioneer.
- 7 In-car driving lessons (14-hours)
- Each lesson is 2 hours long (1 hour driving and 1 hour of backseat observation)
- Also, you can start your mandatory 30 hours of driving lessons with your parents.
